The miniski is normally seen as a childrens toy, both because of the materiality and the compromise in use compared to a normal ski. By making one in wood, I wanted to alter the perception of a miniski as something cheap, and by adding steel edges the maneuvrability is acceptable too. The end result is a ski that can be used downhill like a skateboard winther days, but also have an aesthetic people will relate to.
